Why choose engineered brushed flooring?

With a natural, rustic charm, combined with the strength of an engineered board, brushed engineered flooring is as sturdy as it is visually appealing.

A perfect choice for hallways and living spaces, a brushed engineered floor is also suitable for use with underfloor heating systems, unlike its solid wood counterpart.

What are the alternatives?

The main alternative is of course the solid wood variant. Brushed solid wood flooring has the same look as engineered, and is arguably more authentic, but it doesn’t have the same longevity as an engineered product.

You may also want to consider different finishes such as hand scraped, which has a similar appearance to brushed, but the texture seems slightly more natural.
